Students went for a nature walk to inquire and observe different types of plants.They inquired that different types of plants have different coloured and shaped leaves. They were really excited to explore their imagination and gathered ,lots of information related to their current Unit Of Inquiry.

Students went for a field visit where they observed crop of wheat. They inquired why this festival is celebrated by farmers with great happiness and joy.

🌍 Day was celebrated in the class. Students pledged that they would save the environment and grow more trees.

"All work no play makes Jack a dull boy" To celebrate the sportsman spirit among young learners,  Annual Sports meet was organized for IB PYP at CIFS on February 19th , 2018. The event had esteemed guest of honour Mr. A. S. Island, coordinator of sports, LWES along with Mr. Stanley Anthony,  principal,  CIFS and Mrs. Meenu Huria,  education director learning wings and pyp head. The students participated in enthusiastically in various events like hurdle race, short put, simple race, Relay and long jump and exhibited their talents.

Students made kites in groups and enjoyed  Basant Panchami

Activity on Non-standard means of measurement was done in the class on 22 Jan. 2018, where the students measured different things with the help of various objects . They also measured the height of their friends with geometry boxes. They really enjoyed and learnt how they can measure things .

Students were encouraged to explore their imagination and creative skills trough shapes. They made beautiful models out of different shapes.
